ThirdAveView is an application that provides an iPhone-level experience for viewing Third Avenue kiteboarding and sailboarding webcam images. This application is site specific to a Foster City, California webcam and will only be of interest to those who are interested in views of the San Francisco bay area specifically associated with the Third Avenue kiteboarding and sailboarding site.
The application updates when the images are updated, currently approximately every 5 minutes. This application loads a panoramic image that is large and the startup times can, depending on the state of the network, seem large. Also, the pan and zoom capabilities will need tweaking in future releases.
